Blackie Scott is a popular humorist,
speaker, entertainment consultant and author. She began her career as an entertainment consultant for a large import house of fine china, crystal and limited edition porcelains.
In this role she spoke for department stores and galleries nationally. With a Southern drawl that kinda' melts out of her diminutive frame, she has entertained, educated and
motivated audiences for over twenty years on numerous subjects...all while teaching real world lessons with wit and genuine charm. Her presentations and after dinner speeches on
corporate etiquette (domestic and international); entertaining in the home; retirement; and workplace relationships have delighted audiences throughout the United
States.
Corporations, associations, colleges and universities, and government agencies
have all been clients of Blackie's as she weaves hilarious true-life stories with practical information. Her presentations keep 'em laughing, keep 'em thinking, and bring new
perspectives to meaningful topics and contemporary problems.
She is a member of
the National Speakers Association, National Cancer Survivors Day Speakers Bureau, former member of the Georgia Speakers Association, and the Georgia Society of Association Executives. and currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
But most of all, Blackie believes in the appeal of
humor. She says that people listen and learn best with their mouths open…laughing!
